All of our minds are unique. Some of us are great at some things and not so good at others.

When something is easy, we typically don't pay any attention to how easy it is...!

When something is hard, we get frustrated!

The trick is to remember that we will learn. Somethings will be a little harder for us to learn, and some things a little easier.

If you are wondering why certain tasks are hard, you might need a little help. So, ask!

Ask your teachers, parents or older brothers and sisters. Ask your grandparents, your principal, your favorite adult.

• Sounding out word?
• Losing your place on the page?
• Do letters look confusing?
• Do you forget what you have read?

Is writing hard?

• Finding the right word in your mind to start a sentence?
• Organizing your ideas on paper so that they make sense to the reader?
• Taking the great idea in your head and making it a great idea on paper?
• Remembering how to spell the easy and the hard words?
• Making your handwriting easy to read?

EEK! Math...

• Is memorizing the multiplication table too hard?
• Are math concepts confusing?
